Rotary Club of DeLand has been serving the Central FL community for 78 years. We concentrate on Five Areas of Service to our community: Club Service, Community Service, Vocational Service,  International Service, and Generations. Our largest International Service Project to date is PolioPlus® ... the global eradication of polio. Twice we have come within a just a few cases of defeating polio, but our goal is to stop this crippling disease forever.

This club’s newest accomplishment is the organizing of EarlyAct a part of the Generations area of service offering the principles and methods of adult Rotary to elementary school students. EarlyAct mimics the same procedures and standards of established Rotary clubs for elementary school children.

We sponsor ambassadors for Education, Cultural Exchange and Peace between clubs and nations. No other organization of this enormous size changes it’s leadership on all levels yearly, while continuing to support all our projects and our Rotary Foundation.

When you support Rotary projects or take part in a Rotary fundraiser you are helping on a worldwide level. Join us in our new thrust to a “greener” earth, providing potable water for third world countries, ending illiteracy and innumeracy, and alleviating world hunger.

The Rotary Charity Golf Tournament is an annual fundraiser to support the projects above and many more. If you want to know more about Rotary Club of DeLand Service Projects go to www.delandrotary.org locally, www.rotary6970.org for the district web site, or the  Internation Rotary web site at www.rotary.org

Why should you golf at the Club at Pelican Bay in Daytona Beach, Florida? Just look at what we have to offer!

North Course
350 Pelican Bay Drive
Daytona Beach, FL 32119
(386) 756-0040

Bill Amick Design 1980
Formerly Private 1980-2008

Pelican Bay was the host of 2 Senior PGA Tour Events. In 1984, Orville Moody made a famous chip-in in a sudden death playoff to beat the legendary Arnold Palmer.

A Championship Daytona golf course that features long demanding holes and beautiful elevated tee boxes. The North Course, designed by Bill Amick is immaculately maintained, winding through waterways, loblolly pines, bayberry and white cedars that escort and maintain the boundaries for the course. To assign a “signature” hole to the North Course would be an unfair assessment, since every hole has its own challenge and distinctive layout. Some views can be intimidating, such as the high tiers on the 460 yard fifteen, or the gauntlet effect on the 230 yard eighth.
